Banana Bread


Such an easy recipe & very calorie friendly 🙂
In a blender, add
150g bananas (about 2-3 bananas)
20g self raising flour
25g coconut flour
5g oats (instead of self raising flour you could use all oats)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
4 egg whites (about 120g if you’re weighing)
50g 0% fat greek yoghurt

Optional: Protein powder; I would recommend either cinnamon or vanilla flavoured. Chocolate chips. Banana chunks, blueberries, or anything else you’d like

That’s it! Blend it all up. Pour into a small loaf tin (mine is very small; this makes it thick and dense 🙂 I added about 30g chopped banana on top; this is optional. Bake in the oven between 150- 170 degrees Celsius, until golden brown. I wanted it to cook quite slowly, as it’s quite a wet recipe. Let it cool a bit before digging in.

I don’t track by servings, but I’d guess 6-8 servings. What I do is weigh the entire thing, and work out the calories by weight. So I can tell you for 50g, which is about 2 slices: Cals: 99, Carbs: 16, Protein 6.4, Fat: 0.8

If you ate the entire loaf it would be: Cals: 273, C: 44.1, P: 17.7, F2.2
